One of the main components of the David Oyedepo Foundation's objective to empower African youth and promote leadership development is the scholarship program. This program targets talented nationals and residents of African countries and offers full-ride scholarships, giving them access to leadership development and academic success.

- Full-Ride Scholarships: Recipients of the David Oyedepo Scholarship are granted full financial support to pursue undergraduate studies at Covenant and Landmark University in Nigeria.

- Leadership Development: The program aims to cultivate youth leaders equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive positive change within organizations, communities, and countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the undergraduate David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Citizenship or permanent residency in any African nation.

- Age between 16 and 25 at the time of application submission.

- Eligibility to obtain a Nigerian student visa.

- Proficiency in English language skills (reading, writing, speaking).

- Outstanding academic performance at the secondary school level, demonstrated by:

  - Scoring at least 50 points above JAMB cut-off points (for Nigerians).

  - Attaining an 80% recorded average or 4.0 GPA/5.0 in Secondary/High School Transcript.

  - Initiated admission applications to Covenant or Landmark University.

JAMB 2024 UTME Result Is Out Online: How To Check

 

This is to notify JAMB candidates for 2024 that their JAMB scores are now accessible through their JAMB CAPS portal. Candidates who are experiencing difficulty accessing their results owing to SIM card loss can now use the JAMB web to check their scores.

• Log on to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/Login
• If you are using Chrome, click on the 3 dots at the top right corner of your screen to change to desktop view
• Enter your email and password to login
• On your dashboard, click Admission status
• Click on Access my CAPS
• On the menu at the left side of the screen, click My Profile.
• Your profile will show including your JAMB score.

FUTMINNA Announces 2024/25 Pre-Degree/IJMB Programmes Admission Form

 

Applications for admission to the Federal University of Technology, Minna's one-year preliminary degree program (Suleja and Minna Centers) and IJMB Minna Center are being accepted from adequately qualified individuals for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The University offers degree programs focused on science and technology in the following schools: (1) Agriculture and Agricultural Technology; (2) Electrical Engineering and Technology; (3) Environmental Technology; (4) Information and Communication Technology; (5) Infrastructure, Process Engineering and Technology; (6) Life Sciences; (7) Physical Sciences; (8) Science and Technology Education

The Pre-Degree Program is intended to get applicants ready for admission to the University's 100 Level degree programs. In contrast, the IJMB is a one-year program for Advanced Level (A/L) subjects that prepares applicants for entrance to 200-level universities in Nigeria and abroad.

Requirements for Admission to the FUTMINNA Pre-Degree/IJMB Program:

 

A candidate must have at least five (5) credits in order to be considered for admission. These credits must be earned in English language, mathematics, and any three of the following subjects: At the SSCE, GCE O' Level, NECO and NABTEB, subjects covered include Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science/Technical Drawing and Geography. There shouldn't be more than two sittings for the findings. Agricultural science and health science are not accepted for the IJMB program.

Scan copies of your credentials are one of the requirements for admission. - Birth certificates, Indigene or O-level certificates, Primary Certificates

JAMB Releases 2024 UTME Results - How To Check

 

The 2024 JAMB results have been released, according to JAMB. 1.98 million people sat the exam, and 1,842,464 students' results were made public, according to JAMB. As of this morning, April 30, 2024, these candidates can begin viewing their results. Use the phone number you used to register for JAMB to send the SMS UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 to see your results. 

You must have at least N50 remaining on your airtime credit.

Recall that not all results are released by JAMB simultaneously. As for the prospect of making the results groups available 48 to 36 hours after the tests, well, JAMB had always indicated it. JAMB hasn't been able to stick to that over time, though. 

 

 

Zeribe Nwosu Foundation (ZNF) 2024 Annual Essay Competition for Nigerian Students

 

The Zeribe Nwosu Foundation (ZNF) is pleased to announce the 2024 ZNF Annual Essay Competition. The purpose of this essay is for writers to discuss the difficulties and problems related to undergraduate education in Nigeria by drawing on their personal experiences and viewpoints that they have obtained via discussion with others. Al maarif College of Nursing 2024/25 ND/HND Admission

 

Candidates who wrote the 2024–2025 UTME and did not select Al-Ma'arif College of Nursing Sciences, Potiskum as their first or second choice and are interested in the ND Nursing Program must obtain a POST UTME Screening Form at the College ICT & E-Library Units for a non-refundable fee of $10,000.

• Candidates MUST have UTME score of 120 and above in the 2024/2025 UTME SSCE/GCE: WAEC, NECO or NABTEB with Five Credits at not more than two (2) sittings in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

The FATE Scholarship Awards for 2024/25 Academic Year

 

The FATE Scholar Programme (FSP) is a FATE Giving initiative. The programme aims to support and enable innovative and entrepreneurial students seeking admission to pursue an undergraduate degree in any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) course in any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria for the 2024-2025 Academic year.

The FSP will support exceptional, high-performing, and future entrepreneurs with the following:

Financial aid Mentoring and Internship

Successful applicants will be supported for at least four years of their academic pursuit in any accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

They will be required to provide proof of admission to access the program's benefits.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
• A Nigerian Citizen.
• An exceptional student
• Must not be more than 21 years at the time of application.
• Planning to study for an undergraduate degree in any STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Course in an accredited public tertiary institution in Nigeria.

WAEC Warns the Public over Alleged Hiring Ad hoc staff

The West African Examinations Council has been made aware of an internet portal that appears to be promoting job offers from the Council. Job offers purportedly intended for temporary employees who would act as supervisors and invigilators for the upcoming West African Senior School Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2024 were published on the aforementioned website.

The Council hereby disassociates itself from the phony job advertisement being disseminated by dishonest people whose schemes are to con unwary job seekers by stating unequivocally that the advertisement did not originate from us.

The Council would want to make it clear to its stakeholders that the different Ministries of Education are the only ones who nominate supervisors in order to avoid any confusion. However, the schools that submit candidates for the test appoint the invigilators.

In addition, the West African Examinations Council, a highly regarded worldwide examining body, is steadfast in its adherence to moral behavior and will never demand payment from job seekers or prospective employees in exchange for employment. As a result, anyone transacting with the aforementioned website—or any other, outside of the official WAEC website—does so at their own risk.

At this time, WAEC does not conduct any hiring. The daily newspapers, WAEC Nigeria's official website (www.waecnigeria.org), and all of our social media channels are the only places where job openings are published. As a result, we strongly advise everyone involved in dishonest behavior to stop right away and start again.

JAMB List of Prohibited Objects and Guidelines for 2024 UTME Biometric Verification

 A reminder that certain objects are not permitted in the exam room is given to candidates as we prepare for the 2024 JAMB CBT exams. Only an HB pencil and an additional copy of your JAMB exam slip are permitted for the 2024 UTME. To guarantee that the Board's exams adhere to the finest international practices, JAMB claims that this is necessary. It will not be permitted for candidates to take the UTME if they bring any of the things indicated below to the hall.

It is mandatory for candidates to thoroughly review the list and make note of any items that are prohibited in order to prevent any issues during the UTME process.

Also, where an examination official (board staff or ad hoc staff) or any authorized person is found with any of these prohibited items in the examination hall, such compromising action would be treated as a deliberate act of examination sabotage and necessary sanction will be applied.

Instructions on Biometric Verification

1. Biometric Verification will be the only mode for the admittance of candidates into the examination centre. Strict adherence to the guide on compulsory biometric verification of every candidate is required.

2. No Candidate should be kept waiting if he/she cannot be verified. Such a candidate should be recaptured at the centre before leaving. ONLY genuine cases will subsequently be treated.

3. There is no other Attendance Register apart from the biometric verification. Biometric verification will also serve as Attendance Register during examinations.

4. Photo Albums will only carry pictures with no marking points for either Present or Absent status.

5. All Examination Officials, including the security agents, are to ensure compliance with all guidelines, rules and regulations on the examination.

UNN 2023/24 Supplementary and Direct Entry Admission Lists Released

 

This is to notify those applicants who have not yet been admitted that the Direct Entry and Supplementary admission lists for the 2023–2024 academic session have been released by the management.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES RECOMMENDED FOR PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Candidates listed above are required to adopt the following:

All candidates are STRICTLY advised to URGENTLY upload their O/Level results into JAMB Portal using a JAMB approved CBT Center, if they have not done so, and confirm that the upload has been effected in CAPS. Note that candidates’ admission cannot be processed until proper upload of O/Level results are done.

All candidates who were provisionally recommended for admission in courses other than the ones they applied to JAMB (Advert/Shopping or Supplementary) should, as a matter of urgency, access JAMB CAPS in an accredited CBT Center and do change of course from their original courses of application to JAMB to the courses recommended, print and drop their admission status from CAPS to the Admissions Office to enable them to be recommended in CAPS which is the only authentic way of gaining admission.

After complying with 1 to 2 above the candidates should subsequently do the followings:

Visit the JAMB Portal and accept your admission on CAPS by clicking “Accept Admission”. Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS would not be issued JAMB Admission Letter and would be deemed as not admitted.

Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a Payment Invoice which contains a Remitta number, the invoice will enable you to make payment at any Commercial Bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

With the Payment Invoice, candidates are requested to pay Thirty Thousand Naira Only (N30, 000.00) acceptance fee. Ensure that the Invoice number is keyed in appropriately at the Bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice number.

Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.

Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated on the University of Nigeria website.

Candidates should note that this admission is provisional.

If at any time in future, including final year, it is discovered that any candidate does not possess the minimum university and the faculty/departmental entry requirements for the course as prescribed by the Senate of the University, and published in JAMB Brochure, the offer of admission will be withdrawn.
